How can students continuously enhance their innovation and entrepreneurial abilities in practice, and turn strategic business concepts into successful projects? At Shanghai College of Science and Technology, innovation and entrepreneurship have always been a top priority. The university actively promotes reform in innovation and entrepreneurship education systems, strengthens faculty development, and fosters students’ entrepreneurial mindset, aiming to build a distinctive educational brand in this field. Two student-led projects, Ruida Exploration and Smart Riveting Pioneers, were recently awarded Gold in the Creative Group of the Vocational Track at the 2024 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (Shanghai Division). Grateful for the recognition, the winning students expressed that the award not only affirms the value of their projects but also serves as a strong encouragement for their teamwork and innovation capabilities. They look forward to exchanging ideas with outstanding teams from across the country in the national competition and contributing to technological innovation and industrial advancement together.

Minhang New Campus Officially Opens

On September 1, 2024, the Shanghai College of Science and Technology officially inaugurated its Minhang campus, located at 42 Luo Jin Road, Minhang District, Shanghai. The new campus features state-of-the-art teaching facilities and an international-standard campus environment designed to foster high-quality technical professionals with global perspectives and innovative capabilities.

From January 18 to 20, 2025, the "Belt and Road" Youth Overseas Digital Marketing Training Camp (Shanghai Products Going Global) was successfully held. Congratulations to Our Newly Certified Basketball Referees!

Recently, 24 new basketball referees from our school completed their certification training—8 achieving Level 2 and 16 earning Level 3 credentials. This marks a significant step in our efforts to develop qualified officiating talent and contribute to the professionalization of campus basketball events. The program covered rules, signals, game management, and real-match simulations, equipping participants with both technical skills and professional ethics essential for fair play.
