Recently, the inaugural meeting of the Higher Education Continuing Education Development Committee of the China Adult Education Association and its first council members’ representative assembly was successfully held in Beijing. Leaders from the Ministry of Education and the China Adult Education Association attended and delivered speeches. A total of 101 member institutions, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, other general and vocational colleges, as well as enterprises and institutions, were admitted as the first batch of members. Our university was unanimously elected as an Executive Council Member, and Vice President Zeng Xiping was elected as an Executive Council Member as well.
The Higher Education Continuing Education Development Committee is a subordinate branch of the China Adult Education Association. It is a professional organization dedicated to academic research and exchange, theoretical training and practical validation, achievement promotion, and consulting services in the field of higher education continuing education. Its mission is to build a standardized, open, and high-quality ecosystem for continuing education, to promote educational reform and innovation, and to contribute to the development of a strong educational nation. Our university will take this opportunity to further strengthen the substance and quality of continuing education and enhance its overall level.
