To strengthen cadre team building, broaden perspectives, enhance performance capacity, and improve management skills, our university hosted the 2023 summer training program for mid-level cadres of Jiangsu Haimen Secondary Vocational School from July 25 to July 30, 2023. The six-day training program welcomed over 50 participants.

The opening ceremony was held on the morning of July 26. Attendees included Zhou Sheng, Party Secretary of our university; Han Fang, Deputy Party Secretary and President; Song Jian, Party Secretary of Haimen Secondary Vocational School; Mao Yijuan, Deputy Party Secretary and Principal of Haimen Secondary Vocational School; as well as participating mid-level cadres from Haimen. The ceremony was hosted by our university’s Vice President Zeng Xiping.

Our university meticulously organized and prepared the training program, which featured comprehensive, practical, and targeted content. The training format was diverse, combining expert lectures, site visits to schools and enterprises for practical learning, and red-themed educational trips.
Party Secretary Zhou Sheng delivered a keynote report titled “Strengthening the Party’s Overall Leadership in Schools and Improving Cadres’ Leadership and Execution Capabilities.”
Participants visited significant red education sites such as the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the former residence of Chen Yun. These visits provided meaningful historical insights and inspired a sense of mission by learning from revolutionary pioneers and model figures.

Additionally, the delegation visited Shanghai Baidu Apollo Park and NIO Shanghai to gain firsthand experience in school-enterprise collaboration and industry-education integration, exploring new mechanisms for cooperative talent development.
This summer training program marked the beginning of a strategic partnership between our university and Jiangsu Haimen Secondary Vocational School. The exchange and mutual learning between the two institutions aim to jointly explore new models of talent cultivation and promote collaboration in academic development, talent training, and industry-education integration.
