The college has grown from nothing into a well-established institution with both scale and depth, building a distinct brand and identity.

Now, with your arrival, we stand at a new starting point. A fresh chapter awaits us, and together, we begin a new journey with renewed energy and purpose.

Academic Contributions

Since taking office, Professor Kong has published over 30 academic papers, including 9 in CSSCI and core Chinese journals, and 7 abstracts reprinted in Renmin University of China’s academic digests. He has received three Third Prizes in the Yangzhou Philosophy and Social Science Achievement Awards. He was awarded the Second Prize in the Jiangsu Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards (ranked second) and has led four provincial education reform and planning projects, along with multiple city-level research initiatives.

Teaching and Creative Work

Professor Kong’s course Design and Color was named a Shanghai Model Course for Ideological and Political Education and was recognized as part of an Outstanding Team in that initiative. He received Second Prize in the related citywide showcase. Dozens of his works in sculpture, mural, and lacquer painting have been selected for national and provincial art exhibitions, some winning awards and being collected by institutions like the China Sports Museum.

He has also designed and built various classical gardens and modern landscapes, with his interior and graphic design projects widely applied in society.
