Guo Wei, born in May 1984, holds a master’s degree in economics and is an associate professor. She currently serves as the Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Office, the Dean of the School of International Education, the Party Branch Secretary of the School of International Education, and the Director of the Minhang Campus Management Office at Shanghai Vocational College of Science and Technology.
She has been appointed as a member of the Network Marketing and New Media Committee of the National E-commerce Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee, a member of the Teacher Development Committee of the National Foreign Economic and Trade Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee, a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the National Market Supervision Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee, the Chairperson of the Industry-Education Integration Committee of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce Information Technology Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Shanghai Tourism Professional Steering Committee.
She is the leader of a national-level high-quality online course in vocational education, the head of the Shanghai Teaching Innovation Team, the leader of Shanghai’s high-level e-commerce professional group, the host of the “Jia-Kun-Tai” e-commerce master teacher studio, the director of a municipal-level teaching resource database, the head of a municipal-level virtual simulation training base, and the leader of municipal-level high-quality courses and first-class core courses.
In recent years, she has published five papers in core journals, authored two textbooks, led six provincial or higher-level research projects, and received numerous awards, including a first prize and two second prizes in the Shanghai Teaching Achievement Awards. She has also won over ten other awards, including a second prize in the National Vocational College Information-Based Teaching Competition and a special prize in the Shanghai Teacher Teaching Ability Competition. Additionally, under her guidance, students have won a bronze medal in the national competition and a gold medal in the Shanghai competition of the 9th China International “Internet+” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
Dedicated to vocational education for many years, she has been committed to teaching and nurturing students. She has been recognized with the Jiading Education Merit Award five times, was named a “Shanghai Education System Outstanding Female Role Model,” was selected as a high-level talent in Jiading District, and in 2024, was included in the Shanghai “Oriental Talent” Program.
