In alignment with the 20th CPC National Congress directives and addressing the digital transformation needs of the automotive sector, Shanghai University of Science and Technology hosted the 2024 National Vocational College Skills Competition Shanghai Qualifier (Higher Vocational Group) for Automotive Marketing on March 29. The event, organized under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, featured participation from eight vocational colleges across the city, showcasing cutting-edge industry practices and professional standards.

The competition featured a two-member team format with two main modules: automotive marketing strategy development, presentation, experiential showroom sales, and used vehicle appraisal. The event emphasized fairness and transparency while aligning vocational education with industry needs, fostering highly skilled automotive marketing professionals.

Shanghai University of Science and Technology’s Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering College played a key role in ensuring smooth execution by forming a dedicated event service team, coordinating logistics, and providing comprehensive support. Competitors demonstrated exceptional skills, enthusiasm, and professionalism, effectively applying their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
