Director of the Office of the School of International Education

Li Lu, born in November 1985, holds a Master’s degree in Management and is a certified CATTI interpreter and translator. She is a lecturer and currently serves as Director of the Office of the School of International Education at Shanghai College of Science and Technology.

She has over ten years of experience in translation and interpretation, with expertise spanning geotechnical engineering, design, and management. She has completed interpretation for hundreds of business events and translated more than two million words. She co-translated industry books such as Dutch Towns Through the Eyes of Planners and Creating Unique Towns with Smart Design, and has participated in major national-level projects including the China Pavilion for the Milan and Dubai World Expos and the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition. She has also organized international events such as the China-Netherlands Eco-Cultural-Technology Seminar and the European Town Alliance China Tour.

At the college, she has served as Deputy Director of the College English Teaching and Research Section in the School of Art and Design, and is a core member of the College English Innovation Teaching Team. She focuses on English education reform, multicultural literacy, and the integration of ideological-political content in vocational English teaching. She has supported international programs including the Schneider Electric Training Base and the “Belt and Road” Youth Overseas Digital Marketing Training Camp.

In recent years, she has published four journal articles, co-edited one textbook, led three university-level research projects, and developed one high-quality online course. She has guided students to top awards in national and municipal English competitions.
