Xianda College of Economics & Humanities Shanghai International Studies University​

Shanghai International Studies University Xianda College of Economics and Humanities is one of the first full-time undergraduate independent colleges in Shanghai, approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004. In 2021, it was selected for Shanghai’s pilot program for cultivating master’s degree-granting institutions, organized by the Shanghai Academic Degrees Office. The college is jointly run by Shanghai International Studies University and Shanghai Xianda Investment Co., Ltd. It operates two campuses—Hongkou and Chongming. The Hongkou Campus is located in the northeastern part of the city, adjacent to Shanghai International Studies University, while the Chongming Campus is situated in Chenjia Town, Chongming District, where elegant neoclassical and Tuscan-style architecture blends harmoniously with the unique ecological environment.
