
Shanghai Dazhong Technical School
Established in 1985, Shanghai Dazhong Technical School is a nationally recognized model school for secondary vocational education reform and development, as well as a key national-level secondary vocational school specializing in engineering programs. The school integrates three major functions: academic education, vocational skills training, and skills certification.
It offers 15 full-time academic programs across 9 disciplines and is authorized to provide vocational skill training at all levels, from junior workers to technician certification. The school hosts four national vocational skills assessment centers in machining, electrical work, bench work, and culinary arts.
Covering an area of 120 mu (approximately 20 acres) with a building area of 97,000 square meters, the school’s total fixed assets amount to 220 million RMB. It currently has nearly 3,000 full-time academic students, and provides vocational training and assessment to more than 4,000 individuals annually.
The school is equipped with a state-of-the-art modern training center totaling around 18,000 square meters. Among them, the CNC machining, mechatronics, and auto repair training centers have been designated as Star-Level Open Training Centers for vocational education in Shanghai.
