A New Major with a Strong Start
The program began enrolling students in 2022. It was established on the foundation of the traditional Automotive Inspection and Maintenance Technology program, with a high-standard setup. Drawing on the strengths of Germany’s “dual system” education model, the program emphasizes school-enterprise collaboration, builds joint faculty teams with industry partners, seamlessly aligns professional knowledge with real-world practice, and cultivates highly skilled professionals needed in the new energy vehicle industry.

The new energy vehicle market is experiencing explosive growth, with a strong demand for talent. The college is located in Jiading International Auto City, Shanghai, home to a complete automotive industry chain integrating traditional, new energy, and intelligent connected vehicles. Well-Equipped On-Campus Training Facilities and Strong School-Enterprise Partnerships
The college provides comprehensive NEV training facilities to meet educational needs. It has also formed partnerships with companies such as NIO, WM Motor, and Baidu Apollo in the NEV and intelligent connected vehicle fields. Additionally, the college has co-established an Industry Academy with Baidu Apollo to support the NEV and intelligent connected vehicle programs.
