On May 10, 2024, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering held an internship orientation for the Class of 2022, highlighting industry trends, employment prospects, and the importance of the modern apprenticeship system.

On May 10, 2024, the Internship Orientation Session for the Class of 2022 students of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering was successfully held in the lecture hall on the third floor of the university.

To further promote the smooth implementation of the comprehensive apprenticeship training for the Class of 2022, the school organized two internship orientation sessions at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM on the same day. All leaders of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, counselors of the Class of 2022, program directors, laboratory heads, and several faculty representatives attended the event. The session was hosted by Ren Ye, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the School.

At the beginning of the meeting, Associate Dean Zhang Dong delivered a keynote speech. Starting with relevant documents issued by the Ministry of Education, he combined real-world insights from program development and enterprise visits to analyze current industry trends in manufacturing and the future employment prospects for students. Dean Zhang emphasized that internships are not only a vital path for students to put theory into practice but also a key step in enhancing the competitiveness of graduates. He elaborated on the modern apprenticeship system as a model that deepens industry-education integration and strengthens university-enterprise cooperation. This system plays a crucial role in cultivating skilled professionals with hands-on experience and innovative thinking. Dean Zhang provided a thorough and insightful interpretation of the policy background, significance, and core concepts of the modern apprenticeship system, offering a high-level and thought-provoking perspective.
