From May 23–26, the SCST Yoga Team made a historic debut at the 2025 National Fitness Yoga Open in Nanjing, securing 12 honors including a national third-place finish in the College Group Prop Routine. All eight team members, first-year students selected from the school’s yoga elective, showcased their talent and dedication—highlighting the success of the school’s interest-based physical education reform.

On July 26, 2023, the E-Commerce event of the National Vocational Students Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group) concluded in Guangdong. Four students from Shanghai College of Science and Technology won First Prize, earning the city’s first national gold in this category.
