Debating Society

The Debating Society, affiliated with the School of Communication and Electronic Engineering, is an academic student organization dedicated to enhancing students’ critical thinking, verbal communication, and team spirit.

By organizing and participating in debate-related activities, the society aims to improve members’ overall competence, foster a strong academic atmosphere, and contribute to the cultural development of the campus.

Our Goals:
  • Improve members’ debating skills and public speaking abilities.
  • Foster teamwork and leadership among members.
  • Broaden students’ knowledge and social awareness through debate.
  • Represent the university in various debate competitions and strive for excellence.
Activities:
  1. Regular Training – Workshops on debate techniques, logical reasoning, and speech delivery.
  2. Internal Debates – Regular in-house debate tournaments as practice platforms.
  3. Intercollegiate Exchanges – Friendly debates and exchanges with debating societies from other institutions.
  4. Major Competitions – Organizing or participating in large-scale competitions such as the National College Debate Championship.
  5. Social Events – Team-building and networking activities to strengthen group cohesion.
