Ms. Xiaoyan Ren, born in December 1977, holds a Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Applications from Soochow University. She is a lecturer and currently serves as the Director of the Information Technology Teaching and Research Section within the General Education Department.
Ms. Ren has led and participated in various curriculum development projects, including the Shanghai Young Scholars Program project titled “Design and Implementation of a Teaching Application Platform for the Level-One Computer Proficiency Exam”, and courses such as Data Structures (JAVA) and Fundamentals of Computer Applications. She has contributed to the compilation of several textbooks, including Fundamentals of Computer Applications and Basic Information Technology and Applications, and has published multiple academic papers.
Under her leadership, the teaching section has continuously pursued educational reforms, resulting in students from the college consistently achieving top-tier pass rates in the Shanghai Level-One Information Technology Proficiency Exams among peer institutions.
