Notice on the Non-Registration of Admitted Students for the 2025 Cohort of Higher Education Continuing Education at SCST

As of the registration deadline on March 8, nine admitted students for the 2025 cohort of Shanghai Polytechnic College's Higher Education Continuing Education program have not completed registration or have waived admission. In accordance with the college's regulations, their admission will be considered forfeited. The names are publicly listed from April 7 to 13, 2025, for objections, if any.

Degree-oriented Education

The School of Continuing Education at SCST offers adult education programs aimed at expanding access to higher education. It welcomes recent and past graduates from secondary vocational schools (including technical, vocational, and secondary specialized schools), high school graduates, and working adults in Shanghai aged 18 and above, regardless of household registration (hukou) status.

Admission

Applicants must take the standardized Adult Higher Education Entrance Examination, which includes Chinese, Mathematics, and English. Admission is based on exam performance, following the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Education Examination Authority, with selection made in order of descending scores.

Start of the Semester
March 8, 2025, which is also the date of the first in-person class. The class schedule for this semester will be announced separately.
